Lots of people are hoping on the Giants bandwagon.
The wagon has become particularly crowded after a stunning a 27-22 win over the Green Bay Packers on Sunday.

But not everyone thinks the success will be lasting. For example, here’s what Stephen A. Smith said on First Take:
“I’m not trying to get on the bandwagon. I do not believe the Giants are going to the playoffs.”
That’ll sting if you’re a Giants fan. But wait, Smith spends essentially the rest of the monologue discussing how the Giants don’t get enough respect.
“You can make the argument that the Giants haven’t received the respect they deserve for what they have achieved thus far.”
While it still may be hard to judge the longevity of a team going into Week 6, it’s clear that first-year head coach Brian Daboll is a reason for the Giants’ recent success, which Smith addresses. Former New York Jets offensive lineman Damien Woody spoke about Daboll on ESPN’s “Get Up!”:
“Coaching matters more to the National Football League than any other league. What Brian Daboll has been able to do with the parts he’s had on this football team has just been magnificent. He is, to me, the runaway coach of the year.”

Daboll, who was formerly the Buffalo Bills offensive coordinator, was hired by the Giants in January.
The Giants return to action Sunday when they host the Baltimore Ravens at MetLife Stadium.
