As the leaves turn and the evenings grow longer, it's a great time to start experimenting with make-up again, especially if you've spent most of summer (understandably) in nothing more than a tint and gloss.
Not sure where to start? Bella Hadid's latest red-carpet beauty look is a flattering inspiration point. At a recent gala for US charity In God's Love We Deliver in New York City, she went for warm tones across the eyes, lips and cheeks, which paired beautifully against her shimmering gold Michael Kors dress.
The model was honoured with the Golden Heart Award for Mental Health Advocacy on the night. In an Instagram post, she thanked designer Michael Kors and his team, saying: "There were times I was at my lowest, and the entire world felt like it was coming down on me, and Michael was there to make sure I was okay, never once letting that loyalty go."

No stranger to a chiselled cheek, the look saw Bella pivoting from the sunkissed flush with pink-undertones she sported all summer to a slightly warmer hue. It effectively lends a healthy finish while gently contouring the cheekbones. Opting for blushers with an orangey or terracotta undertone, like the one seen here on Hadid, is an easy way to restore warmth in the complexion as the summer glow starts to fade. To quickly cheat a gentle lift and contour, focus the blush along the cheekbones and upwards rather than directly on the apple of the cheek.

For this look, Hadid kept the rest of her make-up tonal with a dusting of light cocoa and mauve eyeshadow, punctuated with inky lashes and little else. Post Fashion Week, her bleached brows are now subtly tinted, too. Given that the rest of the face make-up is fairly velvety and matte in texture, the shiny cinnamon lip brings luminosity to the model's complexion. Take note.
