SHE’S famously swapped bold make-up for a much more natural, pared down look.
And Pamela Anderson has opened up about the real reason behind her makeunder – including why she ditched her glam team.
Pamela, 56, stepped out at Paris Fashion Week looking worlds apart from her usually heavy made-up self.
Instead, the Baywatch star was bare-faced and said that she was embracing a new beauty chapter where she could “go against the grain and do the opposite of what everyone’s doing.”
Since then, the mum-of-two has further opened up about her decision – revealing how she decided to ditch the make-up so the focus was on her clothes instead.
In a video for Vogue France during Paris Fashion Week, Pamela explained: “I didn’t come to Paris Fashion Week and think, ‘I’m not going to wear any make-up.’

“Something just came over me and I was dressing these beautiful clothes and I thought, ‘I don’t want to compete with the clothes.’”
She added: “I’m not trying to be the prettiest girl in the room, I feel like it’s just freedom. It’s like a relief.”
Pamela also took the opportunity to share how she didn’t have a fashion team on hand to dress her for the VIP event.
She continued: “I don’t need a stylist, I don’t have a glam team, I’m just kind of doing this freestyle.”

The video also lifted the lid on the way her new, low maintenance look meant she didn’t have to spend hours in the make-up chair.
Welcoming the cameras into her hotel room, Pamela said she started getting ready just an hour before one of the fashion show’s start time.
She explained: “I’ve just got out of the bath, I’ve let my hair dry naturally and I just put on some moisturiser because I’m not into the make-up look right now.”
“My mum always told me, ‘at some point in my life, you’re not going to want to wear make-up on your skin’ – and she’s right!
“You kind of have to challenge beauty sometimes.”
And while she admitted that she sometimes questions herself on whether she’s “doing the right thing”, the voice that tells her to stop worrying about it it ultimately wins.
She explained: “I think, ‘what am I worried about?’ Am I worried about what people think about how I look?
“I thought, ‘this is the time for me to be probably a little bit rebellious.

“So I am just being me and who I am. I think I’m happiest I’ve ever been in my own skin – it’s what’s inside the clothes that counts and I think beauty does come from within.”
