THE WHAT? Parfums Givenchy has entered the world of Nintendo’s Animal Crossing: New Horizons, having teamed up with Nook Street Market to launch make-up creations on the game, according to a report by WWD.com.
THE DETAILS Claiming to be the first luxury brand to create make-up looks for Animal Crossing creatures, Givenchy has developed the looks around its iconic products including Prisme Libre powders and Le Rouge lipsticks.
Available in a range of color combinations for different skin tones, the ID codes are available to download on Instagram. Givenchy has also created 4G lip tattoos that are in the form its logo.
THE WHY? As gaming grows in popularity for all age groups and genders, the cross-over between the fashion, and now beauty, world has been taking shape for some time.
Back in May fashion organization Reference Festival hosted the world’s first Animal Crossing fashion show, while brands such as Valentino, Marc Jacobs and GCDS have all debuted clothes on the game.
